His highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Heir Prince of Dubai, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and President of the Board of Trust of the Dubai Future Foundation, today honored Honingers of the global appropriation. The winners were recognized in four creative categories that include art, video, games and coding.
HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “Artificial intelligence is giving rise to completely new disciplines and professions, one of the most prominent rapid engineering, which has quickly become a more sought after skill.

Winners
Abdulrahman to March of the EAU, a master’s degree in automatic learning at the University of Artificial Intelligence of Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZUAI), won the first place in the coding category. The video category award was for the Syrian filmmaker Ibrahim Hajjo, senior filmmaker of Hajjo Media. In the games category, the winner, Ibrahim Helmy in Canada, Senior Cloud Solutions was Architect (Data & AI) in Microsoft. The art category was by Yahya Kaddoura de Palestine, architectural designer and associated director in Atkins.
The championship finals were held about two days in area 2071 in Emirates Towers. The winners received a part of the AED1 million awards group, together with international recognition and exposure to industry leaders.
Organized by the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence, an initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation, and supported by the Digai Economics Chamber of Economy, this year’s championship attracted more than 3,800 entries from 125 countries, with 24 finalists ofi. Now in its second edition, the championship served as a key pillar of the opening week of Dubai AI, held under the sponsorship of its highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed.
Final Challenges: Creativity meets capacity
The finalists were the challenge of creating original high quality outputs using advanced generative tools, guided by precise, creative and limited indications. Each finalist competed under pressure in an immediate real -time challenge designed to prove their ingenuity and ability to make Avision.
The finalists in the art category had the challenge of interpreting the theme ‘Time trips in two pictures’ creating two images of the same object or place established in different periods of time: juxtaposing times maintaining a shared visual identity. In the video category, participants had the task of producing a 15-20 seconds cinematographic scene inspired by wildlife documentaries, with an animal in a completely unexpected but realistic environment, which combines authenticity with surrealism.
In the games category, with the theme “one minute hero”, the finalists were challenges to develop a game in which players have only 60 seconds to save the world. Each race is unique and the game adapts subtly to previous attempts. Meanwhile, the finalists in the coding category had the task of creating an emergency response assistant with AI, an intuitive application designed to provide crisis of quiet, precise and real -time support in Dubai, ranging from medical emergencies to lost travel documents.
Distinguished Judges Panel
The Judges Panel for the Global Engineering Engineering Championship 2025 had a distinguished group of experts, including Giuseppe Moscatello, founder of Evolve – co -Foundantown founder; Ayesha Alhamrani, founder of Ayesha Alhamrani Design & Artworks Services; Mohammed Khodr, AI GTM Main Middle East Türkiye and Africa in Google; Hana Kazim, producer of Wiswas; And Hesham Alolama, Director of Strategy and Performance at Dubai Media Council.
Also in the panel were Adi Morun, data director and IA for CEMA (Microsoft Central East Europe, Middle East and Africa); Maitha Alblooshi, event manager in the Dubai culture; Rashed Alawar, Dubai Police Game developer; Michael Bradbury, Director of Education at the Entertainment Arts Center (CEA); Paul Maddox, Director of Application Innovation for CEMA (Microsoft Central East Europe, Middle East and Africa); Ashok Gamb, CEO Co Founder or Cloudstack; and Mohamed Almansoori, CTO of Transcend Technologies.
Global next -generation AI talent
The Global Engineering Championship soon continues to grow as a main international event that highlights the increase in rapid engineering and its role in the configuration of the future of generative AI. As part of the week of Dubai AI, the championship supports Dubai’s ambition to become a global center for the innovation of inclusive, ethical and vision of the future.
Dubai Ai Week is organizing participants from more than 100 nationalities, with more than 180 speakers, more than 150 sessions and workshops, and around 140 activities. The event that will take place from April 21 to 25, 2025, brings together global thinking leaders of new companies, companies, governments and academia to shape the future of artificial intelligence.
