Powertech, launched earlier this year by the advanced technology and defense group based in Abu Dhabi, has assured its first order for the P145I combustion engine.
Another Bord Group company, ADASI (investment of ABU Dhabi Autonomous Systems), made the order. Adasi is known for its end -to -end solutions in the autonomous systems industry. Create unmanned unmanned systems capable of challenging and strategic performance in the defense sector.
Powertech will supply ADASI its advanced six -cylinder fuel injection engine, designed to improve the efficiency and performance of non -manned aerial vehicles (UAV) and light airplanes.
The P145I is done in various environmental conditions and is designed for reliability, fuel efficiency and perfect integration with advanced aerial platforms. Its light design guarantees greater operational flexibility in the air.
The order marks a significant milestone in its strategy to become an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) from all over the world or high performance propulsion systems for civil and defense aerospace applications.
Julien Fabregeette, senior vice president of Industrial Strategy and Associations, commented: “This historical order is a decisive moment for Powertech and a will to the strength of complementary synergies within Edge Group.
“The P145I embodies our excellence in engineering, which offers a powerful and efficient solution in fuel for UAV and advanced aerial platforms. We are proud to support Adasi with propulsion solutions of cutting egg
Juma Al Kaabi, CEO of Adasi, added: “As a regional leader in Autonomous Systems, Adasi undertakes to equip their platforms with the most advanced technologies to meet the evolutionary demands of modern defense operations.
“Powertech P145i engine integration into our platforms is aligned with our mission of offering superior UAV capabilities with improved performance, improved operational efficiency and reliability.”
