Ameirah Alhefeiti, the Eau ambassador to the kingdom of the Netherlands, has affirmed the firm position of the United Arab Emirates in support and solidarity with the circumstances of the fraternal Sudanese people they face. At the same time, the EAU diplomat denounced the accusations without foundation and the systematic campaign carried out by the Sudanese armed forces.
In statements to the Emirates news agency (WAM), Alhefeiti said: “It seems that Sudanese armed forces constantly resort to blaming others, believing that tactics gives them the opportunity to evade the responsibility of Sdocytid people, without taking into account the humanitarian considerations and disasters that have gone beyond the limits.”
He explained that the Sudanese armed forces are misuse of international platforms to achieve certain narrow interests, thinking that this would grant them legitimacy and divert the attention of the crimes and atrocities they are committing in Sudan. She emphasized that the EAU remain committed to international law and insists on the need for legal responsibility with respect to crimes committed by both parties at war.
The ambassador declared that the Sudanese armed forces face a marked choice: accept the responsibility of the ongoing conflict and their devastation, or commit to genuine negotiations, support regional and international efforts to end this meaningless war and abandon.
She emphasized that the Sudanese armed forces will be responsible for what happened and what continues to happen unless they seriously and immediately respond to the calls of high fire, accept a diplomatic solution and begin a political process.
