The EAU have presented new billing rules for companies, as it seeks to boost financial efficiency in the country.
The Ministry of Finance has achieved an important milestone in the Einvoicing program, reinforcing the comprehensive digital transformation commitment and improves the efficiency of the financial system, with the issuance of procedure and accreditation criteria and system of invocation of acodity criteria.
This decision marks a key step in the strategic development of the program.

This decision establishes a regulatory framework that governs the eligibility criteria, accreditation processes, continuous evaluation and termination of accreditation under the electronic billing system.
It also describes the company’s registration requirements, obligations for compliance with the service provider, tax registration confirmations and information security requirements for einvoicing solutions that comply with Pepol, the requirement of self -decoration and the model and procedures that allow permission.
According to this framework, only accredited service providers are authorized to offer Einvoicing services in the EAU.
This guarantees that all Einvoices and credit notes are issued in structured digital formats that can be legend in the machine, allowing processing without interruptions and guaranteeing the precise report of fiscal data to the federal tax authority.
As part of this initiative, the Ministry of Finance has also launched the accreditation of the Einvoicing Service Suppliers portal, a dedicated digital platform designed to facilitate and accelerate the accreditation process.
This portal serves as a centralized, transparent and efficient digital channel to manage all accreditation related procedures.
The accreditation process has been designed to protect the interests of the EAU and the business community.
Accredited service providers must adhere to strict technical, operational and security requirements, including compliance with Pepol’s interoperability framework and approved security standards.

This guarantees the precise exchange of Einvoices and fiscal data with the federal tax authority.
The Ministry of Finance affirmed that the initiative reflects its unwavering commitment to adopt advanced digital solutions that improve governance efficiency, raise the quality of financial services and reinforce the competence of the national economy.
A strategic milestone reacts in the development of an integrated intelligent and internal financial ecosystem that is aligned with the sustainable development objectives and pre -the nation with confidence.
According to the decision, the accreditation will be granted for a renewable period or two years, and the service providers request to submit a renewal application long before expiration.
The Ministry will also carry out periodic evaluations to evaluate compliance with suppliers and ensure that they continue to meet the required standards. Failure to comply with the renewal conditions of complying or fulfilling can lead to the revocation of accreditation and a prohibition of re -applying for up to two years.
